hi, this is joelle meijer. here is a fun paintingproject for younger children for easter or just for spring. you will need a sheet of blue constructionpaper to bring out the colours of the painting. cut a large potato in half. one half willbe used to paint the bodies of the chicks. stick a fork in the half potato and dip itin the yellow paint. make potato impressions. do not put them rightat the edge of the sheet to leave room to draw the legs later on. still with the same potato, paint a sun orjust piece of sun in a corner of the sheet. cut a small potato in half and proceed inthe same way as with the big potato to paint the heads of all the chicks. if you want, you could use the other halfof the large potato to paint some clouds in the sky. take a plastic fork to paint the grass inthe bottom of the construction paper. dip the back of the fork in the paint and drawthe grass with the teeth of the fork. when the paint is dry, draw the legs of thechicks with a black marker and then dra...
