on it"alicia: the texas alcoholic beverage commission or tabc says the governor's hiring freeze affected 20 positions -- including the beer and wine label approver. chris porter, spokesman with tabc says: "right now we have another person doing that job
but that person has multiple duties in addition to label approval right now."alicia: tabc says the average wait time for labels is 40 daysit's tough for the industry to keep up.a lot of people are making beer. porter says: "it's a tremendous amount of volume
that we are working with and again, that's no excuse, we do want to get the wait down as best we can but we hope the brewers understand that we are working with thousands of brewers across the state" alicia: tabc says they are working as fast as they can,
