craft ideas for mother's day

hi, this is joelle meijer. in this video, i will show you how to createa pretty decorative hat for mother's day. take a paper bowl and paint the outside ofthe bowl in a colour of your choice. when the outside of the bowl is dry, you canpaint the inside. painting the inside of the bowl is optionalbecause in general, it is not visible. for a nicer finish, add a thin coat of acrylicvarnish. to decorate the little hat, the only limitis your imagination. i offer some suggestions. use a cord around the hat and decorate witha butterfly or artificial flowers.

another idea would be to use a small goldenchain for example and decorate with a gold button or any colourof button. you could also use buttons of all kinds ofcolours and glue them all around the hat or glue a series of small flowers in alternatingcolours. these are just some ideas to decorate thisgift for mom. i will show you one example of a completehat decoration. start by gluing a cord around the hat withthe glue gun. avoid using flat ribbon as the side of thebowl is sloped

and it's not easy to adapt the ribbon exactlyto the edge of the bowl unless the ribbon is elastic. then glue artificial flowers in an arrangementthat suits you. here you have already a very nice projectfor mother's day. but there are ways to further enrich the projectby filling it with potpourri. use the pattern that you'll find in the freedocument and attach it with pins to a square of tulle. then cut the circle of tulle. use tulle in a colour that is compatible withthe colour of your paint.

it will look nicer. cut a piece of very thin ribbon that you gluewith the glue gun or with white glue. then pour the potpourri in the bowl. put white glue around the edge of the bowland glue the piece of tulle in place. let dry.

valentine's day craft projects

hi. i'm amy warkentien from expert villageand we're on step two of our window card. and we're going to put what's going to behindthe window which is a pretty piece of colored paper. it costs $1 to $2 at the craft store.and to make sure that we get it the right size we're going to turn it over. we're notgoing to mark on our pretty paper. we're going to mark on the back side. so, take a penciland trace around your heart that you already have cut out on your card. and then go aheadand cut it out. i'm going to use these nice looking scissors. i'm going to cut away fromwhere this is, a little bit larger, so that it'll be easier to place it inside the card. and then after we have this finished we'regoing to glue it down with a glue stick. make sure to not give kids too much leverage onthe glue stick because they'll go a little crazy and it will get everywhere. so, justcrank it up just a little and go ahead and put it on the back side of you...
