craft ideas for paper

hi today i'm going to make pansies in double form, very cute and pretty flowers. materials required are crepe paper in blue, green, green floral tape and light green tape, white acrylic color, yellow acrylic color, a dark blue pen, thin wire and thick wire. all the stencils with measurements are at the end of the video take the light green floral tape and cut

out a small piece, stretch it and wind it on one end of this wire. like this. take petal a and some white color acrylic and just where the neck starts of the petal a just put a kind of a line on it like so then take some yellow colour and paint just above the white area in a slightly haphazard manner you don't

have to make it a straight line like this now let it dry now with the blue color pen just color out this area kind of a butterfly shape just above the yellow area that is colored fill it in like so, take the two petals c and in the same way as we did for petal a just color the neck area with white try not

to use water while you using the color so this is what we get now let it dry now on both the petals also after the color has dried using the blue pen draw a little rounded shape like this so i will do it with this. take all the five petals and they have to be, you know, curled in the same way so first i will start with petal b curl the

stem and the top part slightly and then just push the center a bit, just a bit so, you know, it will protrude like this and then give little crimp on top so you get a frilly edge like this so i will do that with all the petals this is how they all look now take petal a the one with this butterfly design on it and put glue on the base on the stem take the wire

and stick this with just a little tip you know coming out the white area and stick it you have to fold down the petal a bit to show this little tip like this then take petal c stick this on the side of petal a this should come you know in one line the dark blue portion and then stick this the

second petal c like this so it becomes like a triangle of sorts now take petal b and stick this behind petal c like this and the last petal just position the petal while the glue is wet and this is how the pansy would look take the sepal and give about you know less

than half a centimeter cuts on the same line as the cut of the sepal so just give 4 cuts it will look like this now apply glue in the middle of the both the cut the top and the bottom and stick this below the flower like so and then with scissors just open all those cuts that we'd made like this. take a bit of the green floral

tape and wind it from the base of the flower to the end of the wire so just push up these sepals and wnd the tape like this so this is how the flower would look. i have made others in the same way. for the bud take some cotton wool a little bit and take this thin wire this is about nine centimeter long so apply glue on one end and stick this wool on it

then take the piece for the bud stretch it a bit apply glue on it again and stick it on the wool just very neatly just pull down the sides on both the sides then just twist the end we will get a bud like this now take some green tape stretch it and wind it from the base of the bud to the end of the wire this is how it will look now take this sepal

and i have already made cuts on it so first just sort of stretch you know the blunt side of the sepal and apply glue in the center and stick this on the back and push open these as we did for the flower. like so for the leaf first cut a piece of thin wire about 8 centimeter long and then on

the leaves first just score lines and take the green floral tape cut out a piece stretch it and wind it on the wire apply glue on the leaf and stick this wire on it. so you get a leaf like this i have made others in the same way and i have made the small ones also like this now cut a slightly long piece from the green floral tape

stretch it take the thick wire first just wrap the green tape on it just a little bit then start attaching the small leaves these need to be very close to each other and they don't have much of a pedicel leave about less than half an inch of a gap and then attach the bud. the bud

would have a leaf below it so this would have about half an inch of a pedicel then attach a flower and then a leaf below the flower so i'll attach the other two flowers in the same way cut off the extra thick wire if you want and now just open out the petals sorry the leaves and the flowers. the flowers you know point a bit

perpendicular to the ground like this the petal a is you know towards the ground it should be shaped like that so just pull down all the leaves and flowers and this is how the whole stem would look from the top also look like this all the measurements are in centimeter this is the stencil for petal a this is 4.5 x 4 centimeter and the stem is 1.5

by one so cut one piece per flower this is for the this is stencil for petal b this is 5 centimeter by 4 centimeter and the stem is 2 centimeter by 1 centimeter cut 2 pieces mirror images of each other this is the stencil for the bud this is 2.5 x 2.5 cut as many as you want this is the stencil for petal c so this is 4 centimeter by 3

centimeter the stem is 2 centimeter by 1 centimeter again cut 2 pieces which are mirror images of each other we just keep our sstencil like this and then just turn it over and then take like this this is stencil for the sepal this is 3.5 x 3 centimeter cut one piece per bud and flowers these are the stencils for the

valentine's day craft projects

hi. i'm amy warkentien from expert villageand we're on step two of our window card. and we're going to put what's going to behindthe window which is a pretty piece of colored paper. it costs $1 to $2 at the craft store.and to make sure that we get it the right size we're going to turn it over. we're notgoing to mark on our pretty paper. we're going to mark on the back side. so, take a penciland trace around your heart that you already have cut out on your card. and then go aheadand cut it out. i'm going to use these nice looking scissors. i'm going to cut away fromwhere this is, a little bit larger, so that it'll be easier to place it inside the card. and then after we have this finished we'regoing to glue it down with a glue stick. make sure to not give kids too much leverage onthe glue stick because they'll go a little crazy and it will get everywhere. so, justcrank it up just a little and go ahead and put it on the back side of you...
