hi, dana tatar here with you to share a funkids' craft. to create the handprint name tags, you'llneed the following supplies. let's begin. apply several colors of ink onto a piece ofwhite cardstock. it is best to use light colored ink pads here,so the stamping that will be added over the base color in the next step will be visible. the colorbox stylus and sponge tips shownhere are great for blending colors and direct-to-paper projects, and save wear and tear on the inkpads. the tips are available in both an oval andcircle shape.

any variety of sponge applicator will workfor this step. stamp the cardstock with an assortment ofstamps. clearsnap offers over 20 mini stamp sets ina fun variety of themes. mix and match stamps from different sets toadd your favorite images to your project. choose darker colors of ink for this stepso that your stamped images really pop. place your hand onto the stamped cardstockand use a pencil to trace your handprint onto the paper. the quick drying formula of the ink will leavethe paper dry to the touch. any ink that may have been transferred tothe hands or work surface during this project

is easy to clean up with soap and water. use scissors to cut the handprint from thecardstock. use markers to write your name onto a pieceof white cardstock. a circle die was used to cut a shape fromwhite cardstock here. a large punch would also work great for thisstep. any shape will work for a name tag. apply glue to the back of the name tag andpress it onto the center of the handprint. attach a safety pin to the back of the handprintwith a piece of tape. these nametags are perfect for the first dayof school or any event where a simple craft

project will help break the ice. here's an example of a more masculine designwith different shaped name tags. create a card to give to your favorite teacheror coach. repeat steps 1 and 2 of the tutorial on afolded piece of cardstock. place the bottom of your hand along the foldededge.

hi. i'm amy warkentien from expert villageand we're on step two of our window card. and we're going to put what's going to behindthe window which is a pretty piece of colored paper. it costs $1 to $2 at the craft store.and to make sure that we get it the right size we're going to turn it over. we're notgoing to mark on our pretty paper. we're going to mark on the back side. so, take a penciland trace around your heart that you already have cut out on your card. and then go aheadand cut it out. i'm going to use these nice looking scissors. i'm going to cut away fromwhere this is, a little bit larger, so that it'll be easier to place it inside the card. and then after we have this finished we'regoing to glue it down with a glue stick. make sure to not give kids too much leverage onthe glue stick because they'll go a little crazy and it will get everywhere. so, justcrank it up just a little and go ahead and put it on the back side of you...
