hello booktube! my name is elizabeth and welcometo book babble! today and i am going to be doing my tbr (to be read) for the book buddy-a-thon.i am super excited about this! i found my book buddy really late because i didn't hearabout this readathon until like two days ago. my friend lenissa over on twitter decidedto be my book buddy and i am so excited! so let's go ahead and get started all the informationis in the description below but you do need to know that this readathon is going frommay 7 through the 13th so crossing my fingers. i am going to be in orlando half way throughthose dates so hopefully ill get a lot of these books read but we will see. so the firstchallenge is to pick a buddy read and we decided to buddy read snow like ashes by sarah raasch.i have been meaning to read this for forever

i think this was acctualy on my tbr for anotherreadathon that i was going to do earlier in the year but it just never got read and ihave no idea why everytime i feel like picking this book up i just go with something elsebut i'm super excited to finally get this read! the challenge is to read a book thathas the same color on the cover as my buddy's favorite color and her favorite color is purpleso i decided to go with ella enchanted by gail carson levine i acctually really likedthis movie as a child and i've had the book for forever but i've never acctually readit and its got purple on the spine and lots of purple on the cover and its a nice smallquick read it is less than 270 pages so i'm just really excited to read this i think itwill be really easy to get it read for the

readathon because its so short. the next challengeis to pick three books and let your buddy pick one of those books for you so i gavelenissa three books and she picked the forbidden wish by jessica khoury as my book for thischallenge and i am really excited she picked this one i was acctually hopeing she wouldpick this one because i've heard nothing but amazing things. this is about a girl genieit is a retelling of aladdin. aladdin falls in love with genie and i'm just super intriguedby that. i cannot wait to read this! the next challenge is to pick a book that begins withyour buddys first initial and her first initial is l and so i picked the love that split theworld i decided to take out the that usually happens a lot when you're alpahbetizing booksyou don't include the, or a or any of those

typer of prepositions? are those prepositions?i don't do grammer! but yes so love that spil the world by emily henry i acctually do notknow anything about this it is a contemporary, there is a girl her name is natalie but thatsall i know. i know it is a really hyped contemporary at the moment i've heard of a lot of reallygood things about it and i read the description previously and it intrigued me enough to wantto acctuallly request the book from the library. i just don't remember what exactly it wasthat intrigued me about this but i am still reallly excited to read it. i kind of wantto read more contemporary and i am trying to get more into this genre but every timei read one it lets me down a bit but i really hope that i like this! and the last challengeis to read whatever book you want so i went

with crank by ellen hopkins i love me someellen hopkins. she is probably one of the only contemporrary writers that i acctuallydo like casue she deal with a lot of really hard issues in teenagers lives like drugsand sex and alcohol and rape adn sexuality and just lots of really difficult subjectsand i like contemporary that deals with that not just some lovey dovey romance story ilike hard hitting issue contemporaries and ellen hopkins gives me that i love all ofher books plus she writes in verse so its super easy to get through one of her booksin a day i just love reading her books for

valentine's day craft projects

hi. i'm amy warkentien from expert villageand we're on step two of our window card. and we're going to put what's going to behindthe window which is a pretty piece of colored paper. it costs $1 to $2 at the craft store.and to make sure that we get it the right size we're going to turn it over. we're notgoing to mark on our pretty paper. we're going to mark on the back side. so, take a penciland trace around your heart that you already have cut out on your card. and then go aheadand cut it out. i'm going to use these nice looking scissors. i'm going to cut away fromwhere this is, a little bit larger, so that it'll be easier to place it inside the card. and then after we have this finished we'regoing to glue it down with a glue stick. make sure to not give kids too much leverage onthe glue stick because they'll go a little crazy and it will get everywhere. so, justcrank it up just a little and go ahead and put it on the back side of you...
