great diy craft ideas

do it yourself corkboard hi. i noticed that i didn't like the content of my youtube channel. so i was thinking... maybe i should try something new. i want to show you some more of my do it yourself (diy) projects and give you ideas for your on. i hope you guys like that as well and i hope you will continue to follow this channel and my projects. i don't know how my youtube content will change, yet. but let's take it easy and have fun with my videos!

and in the end we will see how this channel develops. ok. enough with talking, lets start with my first diy video! yeah! so i will show you how to create these awesome corkboards, with different colors and looks! some of them are even rewritable like a chalkboard! thats pretty cool, isn't it? let's do this! thats everything we need: four corkboards, colorfull fabric, charkboard paint, spray paint (i used silver and black) and a hot glue gun

for our first corkboard we want only a part of the board to be with color so what we do is taping the part of the board we don't want to be in another color so the color isn't able to bleed through after that i spray painted it. please go outside to do this, otherwise it's going to be a mess. and thats the final look of the first diy corkboard i like it so much! the next bulletin board is going to have a rewritable charkboard look to create this we are using charkboard paint, which you can get in every craft store. because i didn't want to paint the whole board in one plain color, i made a circle in the middle of the corkboard

i like this look more, because the cork is still visable on the borders after i made the circle with an compass i painted the board. you need to work very precisely, otherwise the outcome would be messy. when you are ready the paint need to dry 24 hours. so take your time and move on to the next and last corkboard! for the last one you need fabric. because the farbic will be glued around the board to give it a exciting look. therefore i traced the board and cut the fabric at least 2-5 cm (0,80-2 inch) around this mark. we need this additional length of the fabric to glue it to the backside of our board. for this we are going to use the hot glue gun please be careful to not burn your fingers and use a stable and heat resistant workplace.

you press the fabric on the backside of the cork. make sure you don't make wrinkels on the border of the cork, so it wouldn't look good. you do this for the hole corkboard till you are finised! so that's it! here you see all four corkboards we made! but you can get creative and make up some designs on your on. you can spray paint four boards only in black, you can glue fabric to every board, you can use very different kinds of fabric. you can be as creative as you like, i just showed you some inspirational ideas how to make your own cool looking corkboard!

valentine's day craft projects

hi. i'm amy warkentien from expert villageand we're on step two of our window card. and we're going to put what's going to behindthe window which is a pretty piece of colored paper. it costs $1 to $2 at the craft store.and to make sure that we get it the right size we're going to turn it over. we're notgoing to mark on our pretty paper. we're going to mark on the back side. so, take a penciland trace around your heart that you already have cut out on your card. and then go aheadand cut it out. i'm going to use these nice looking scissors. i'm going to cut away fromwhere this is, a little bit larger, so that it'll be easier to place it inside the card. and then after we have this finished we'regoing to glue it down with a glue stick. make sure to not give kids too much leverage onthe glue stick because they'll go a little crazy and it will get everywhere. so, justcrank it up just a little and go ahead and put it on the back side of you...
