halloween craft ideas 2015

hey everyone, this is jill with apostrophes and today i'm going to show you one of our premier holiday kits. this is the wicked cutewreath. how awesome is this with all of the tulle and the spider web in the middle? solet me show you how this kit comes. this comes with tulle in black, orange, and purple andthen it's got the ring that you put everything on. it's got black lace, black tinsel, blackstring, and of course the black spider. okay, what you're going to need from homeis you're going to need a good pair of scissors and you're going to need to cut some of theseitems. so the lace and the tulle, you'll want to cut into 15 inch strips. and then the blacktinsel, that wired tinsel, you'll need it in 7" strips. okay, so once i've got all ofit cut, let me show you what to do first.

first of all, i'm going to get the ring withsome of this black string and i'm going to tie it here and string it across the ringto the opposite side of the ring and just tie a knot so that you've got four stringsand that's the start of your web. then what i'm going to do is i'm going to just tie thesein knots like this and just give me just a second to show you how this works, and if it's a little bit ofa gape like that. that's okay. and i'll show you why here in just a second. then we'lldo this last one. i can't get it. okay. so if it's kind of gapey like i said, you canslide these. so you can slide this up, this one down, this one back up, this one down.so when you adhere it to the sides it straightens out. and so when you're done, it looks morelike this. so you can move these kind of how

you want and they look more like a real spiderweb. is that awesome? so you just put it like that. okay. and then you get your tulle andyou start, like if this is facing me, i'm going to put it underneath like this and pullthese down, like that. and you're going to do that all the way along this ring. here'sthe black, like this, and you'll just pull those tight and you'll do it all the way along.now when we did the orange, we put some of the black lace with it, like that. so whenyou did the orange piece, like this, it's got the black lace in it. then because thetulle is stiff, and the lace is more kind of floppy, i've put the lace kind of insidethe tulle, like that, so that it stays more straight. let me grab this one and i'll showyou. see how all of these, the lace, the black

lace is in that orange tulle? okay? then thelast thing to do are these. and all i did...let

hi. i'm amy warkentien from expert villageand we're on step two of our window card. and we're going to put what's going to behindthe window which is a pretty piece of colored paper. it costs $1 to $2 at the craft store.and to make sure that we get it the right size we're going to turn it over. we're notgoing to mark on our pretty paper. we're going to mark on the back side. so, take a penciland trace around your heart that you already have cut out on your card. and then go aheadand cut it out. i'm going to use these nice looking scissors. i'm going to cut away fromwhere this is, a little bit larger, so that it'll be easier to place it inside the card. and then after we have this finished we'regoing to glue it down with a glue stick. make sure to not give kids too much leverage onthe glue stick because they'll go a little crazy and it will get everywhere. so, justcrank it up just a little and go ahead and put it on the back side of you...
