craft ideas and projects

you cannot celebrate easter without that furrylittle mascot, the bunny. these sweet little eggs can live on your mantle from year toyear. for this project, you'll need blown out ceramic or wooden eggs, double stick tape, white yarn, scissors, white felt, a black marker, fishing line, a small pink pom-pom,a white pom-pom, and glue. the first thing we need to do is wrap our egg in white yarn.the easiest way to do this is to apply 4 strips of double stick tape to the sides of the egg.start at the top and begin to wrap the egg in the yarn and just continue until it's fullycovered. now grab your white felt and cut your bunny ears about 1-1/2 inches tall byhalf an inch wide. you wanna cut 2 oval feet about 1 inch tall by half an inch wide andthen just 2 small dots for eyes. glue them

on to the yarn-covered egg. grab your blackmarker and draw 2 little dots right on the white eyes. glue them on to the egg. crisscrossthree 2-inch pieces of fishing line and glue

them on to the egg as whiskers. grab yourpink pom-pom and glue it on top of the whiskers as the nose. for the last step, just takeyour white pom-pom and glue it to the back as the tail. and the cool thing with theselittle easter bunnies is you can make them either standing up or laying down.

valentine's day craft projects

hi. i'm amy warkentien from expert villageand we're on step two of our window card. and we're going to put what's going to behindthe window which is a pretty piece of colored paper. it costs $1 to $2 at the craft store.and to make sure that we get it the right size we're going to turn it over. we're notgoing to mark on our pretty paper. we're going to mark on the back side. so, take a penciland trace around your heart that you already have cut out on your card. and then go aheadand cut it out. i'm going to use these nice looking scissors. i'm going to cut away fromwhere this is, a little bit larger, so that it'll be easier to place it inside the card. and then after we have this finished we'regoing to glue it down with a glue stick. make sure to not give kids too much leverage onthe glue stick because they'll go a little crazy and it will get everywhere. so, justcrank it up just a little and go ahead and put it on the back side of you...
