where are you from? from jalandhar do you make these vases yourself? no, we get them made from outside j & k. these are made after using the diesel in the process these vases are kept immersed in diesel for almost six months in the factories. these items are procured from outside the state. how is your business going? after the floods, it got affected but before that it was going well. we are doing this business since very long here.

since how long you are working here? i was born here only, and since when is your father doing business here? its almost 30 years now. where is he right now? he is inside over there. we don't go outside state in any season. we remain in kashmir only all the time. we sells items of price range from 8000 to 5 rupees. the price of this one is 400, this one 800 and the last one for 1500 per pair. these larger ones cost around 3000 rupees. we have three other outlets at dargah (hazratbal shrine), jama masjid and jvc bemina. i am working here since last 15 years. its during the evening time when some customers come and we earn that way only.

during the floods everybody got affected in the valley. we also suffered a loss of some one lakh rupees at that time.

we recently started this outlet here. where do you get all these items made from? from uttar pradesh. there are many outsiders now selling these items here in kashmir valley. many from rajasthan went to up and brought these items here for selling.
