craft ideas for preschool

hi! this is joelle meijer. i will show you how to paint a christmas treewith your hands. here is a pretty easy christmas theme projectfor the younger kids. for this project, you may want to have a bucketof soapy water and a towel nearby! pour some brown paint in the tray and pressyour hand in the paint. then press your hand on a sheet of paper with your fingers pointing towards the edgeof the paper. preferably, keep your fingers apart to formthe roots of the tree. wash the styrofoam tray or take another oneto put green paint in.

to represent the branches of the tree, dip your hand in the green paint and makehandprints to form the tree. work in a fan movement upwards and alwayshave your fingers spread open, pointing outward. then put several colours such as yellow, red, orange, blue, purple, etc.. on another syrofoam tray to paint the lightsof the christmas tree. dip the tip of a finger in paint and tap thecolour around the tree to decorate

valentine's day craft projects

hi. i'm amy warkentien from expert villageand we're on step two of our window card. and we're going to put what's going to behindthe window which is a pretty piece of colored paper. it costs $1 to $2 at the craft store.and to make sure that we get it the right size we're going to turn it over. we're notgoing to mark on our pretty paper. we're going to mark on the back side. so, take a penciland trace around your heart that you already have cut out on your card. and then go aheadand cut it out. i'm going to use these nice looking scissors. i'm going to cut away fromwhere this is, a little bit larger, so that it'll be easier to place it inside the card. and then after we have this finished we'regoing to glue it down with a glue stick. make sure to not give kids too much leverage onthe glue stick because they'll go a little crazy and it will get everywhere. so, justcrank it up just a little and go ahead and put it on the back side of you...
